Rebuild · Crowns & Bridges
Protection for a tooth that has been through a lot.
When a tooth has a large cavity, a crack a filling can't hold, or heavy wear, a crown covers it so it can keep working. When a tooth is missing, a bridge closes the gap without surgery.

A single crown and a three-unit bridge.
Saving what's left of the tooth
Here at Sora Dentistry in Fairfield, we protect what's left of a tooth and replace what's missing, using the smallest repair that will hold.
When a crown is the right answer
A crown covers the whole tooth and gives it back its shape and its share of your bite. Dr. Oh designs it on screen from a digital scan, the way we plan every restoration, so the fit and the bite are settled before it is made.
What a bridge does
A bridge anchors a replacement tooth to the teeth on either side of the gap. There is no surgery, which is why many patients ask about it first.

Getting a crown
Scan and assess
We scan the tooth, take any imaging we need, and look at it together. Then we talk through crown, filling, or bridge, including doing less.
Prepare and design
The tooth is shaped to receive its crown, and Dr. Oh designs the restoration on screen against your bite and the teeth around it.
Seat and check
The finished crown or bridge is tried in and checked for fit, bite, and shade before it is bonded.
Regular checkups
At your regular hygiene visits we check the crown, the bite, and the gum around it. If something starts to change, we see it early.
